At Grace Healthcare, we believe people are the heart of everything we do. We're currently seeking an experienced and driven HR Generalist to support our dynamic team in Edison, NJ. This full-time, on-site role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of key HR processes that directly impact our employees and operations.
What You'll Do:
Serve as the point of contact for day-to-day HR operations across departments
Manage employee relations, ensuring concerns are handled with professionalism and confidentiality
Support the onboarding and offboarding process from start to finish
Maintain compliance with federal and state labor laws, and ensure all internal policies are followed
Collaborate with managers on performance management, employee engagement, and retention strategies
Assist with benefits administration, policy updates, and recordkeeping
Provide support on special projects such as system audits, training rollouts, and HRIS clean-up or implementation
Who Are You:
3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably in healthcare or a similarly regulated industry
Strong understanding of HR functions, including compliance, onboarding, and employee relations
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Paycom, Paylocity, or similar platforms)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills and a solutions-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with HR system implementation or process audits
Familiarity with New Jersey labor laws
SHRM-CP or similar certification a plus
